mourning a loss of life and innocent youth.
Stained by the most vile of cruelties unthinkable,
to be so viciously bruised in ways so unspeakable.
Folding Lilies and Irises over a hearts bitter lament,
as a world cries for the loss of those too early sent.
To have awakened an honor and love felt deep within,
a fellowship of support in the wake of this bloody sin.

for all of the struggling and those who wish liberty fell.

A poem about your country is not offensive, not when it's this good. Anyone who'd be offended by seeing someone else happy is the kind of loser tumblr is infested with. This is DeviantArt, not tumblr. France is a beautiful country, and it does not deserve any of the awful things that have happened to it recently. When people are too afraid to show any national pride, or any pride at all, when people are too afraid to even smile in public for fear of offending someone, you know everything every country had ever fought for is lost.
